FRANCE - MASS PROTESTS

Protests against the El Kohmri law 1
Yao Wenwan
A massive rejection of this law from the entire worker’s population. This means a direct rejection of the policies of Valls (Prime Minister) and Hollande (President of the Republic). The right and the National Front have a lot of difficulties to capitalize this massive rejection of the working population against the Labour Act.

There is a union revival still insufficient but constantly coming from the most militant section of the working class, and it is rapidly a developing movement beginning in the recent past.

BRAZIL - COUP

A coup by imperialism against the workers and the tasks of the communists in the new cold war
Humberto Rodrigues
Versão em Português

The impeachment push to overthrow the government of the PT in Brazil has been orchestrated since 2013. It is a parliamentary coup d’etat to take out the PT government at any cost.

Corruption crimes of which the PT was accused have been proven to be practiced by all his tormentors and on a much larger scale. The bourgeois opposition lost the last four presidential elections in 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014.

THE NEW COLD WAR INTER-CAPITALIST

The crisis of 2008 in US and Europe opens up space for expansion of the influence of BRICS on the planet
Humberto Rodrigues

The 2008 capitalist crisis triggered a US economic slowdown and the European Union on the world market. It was then that a group of countries led by China and Russia, the BRICS, of which Brazil is part, occupied this space. The constitution of capitalist imperialism of the rival bloc was possible because right in front of Brazil, India and South Africa, China and Russia are nations that have become capitalist powers. China and Russia combine exceptionally in its constitution:

OCCUPY NOW! NATIONALISE BRITISH STEEL UNDER WORKERS CONTROL!

Occupy Now!
Nationalise British Steel under workers control!
Socialist Fight Statement

Port Talbot, the Songting Steel factory in China or the two electric arc furnaces (EAF) at Sestao complex near Bilbao are closed or closing because of the global crisis of capitalism, not because of “Chinese Dumping or overcapacity”.

Solidarity with Chinese steel workers against the common enemy, global imperialist capitalism!

CUBA

The cuban exceptionalism
Liaison Committee for the Fourth International - LCFI

The Cuban revolution marked a turn in the history of the twentieth century in Latin America. In addition to defeating a pro-US dictatorship in Uncle Sam’s backyard, for the first time in the Western Hemisphere capitalism was expropriated.

This allowed a small island with less than a dozen million people to escape the fate of an agricultural colony subservient to the US to proudly show to its population and the world its unprecedented achievements like the elimination of hunger and poverty, an educational system. Its excellent health and medical advances are exported to the rest of oppressed humanity.

RUSSIA AND CHINA

Russia and China are NOT Imperialist states
Statement by the Liaison Committee for the Fourth International

ON THE US/EU/NATO ATTACK ON THE UKRAINE

We need to tackle the ideological justification advanced by both the pro Imperialist side and the fence-sitting third campist “neither Moscow nor the US/EU/Nato but the international working class” side; that both Russia and China are Imperialist states (“Eastern Imperialism”). Therefore any conflict between either or both of them and US-dominated global Imperialism (“Western Imperialism”) is a conflict between rival Imperialist powers and therefore revolutionary socialists should support neither in that war. We should advocate revolutionary defeatism for ourselves and for the Russian/Chinese working class, i.e. they should seek the defeat of their own bourgeoisie in order to combat the imperialist chauvinism that sweeps the masses in wartime via its main conduit in modern times, the Labour and trade union bureaucracy.

THE LEFT’S AND ILLUSIONS IN CIA MERCENARIES

The soft left’s foolish illusions in Benghazi’s rebels
Ret Marut

Cammeron and Sarkozy in Benghazi. The flag of King Idris, the stooge monarch imposed by Britain and the US after WWII, was everywhere carried by the Benghazi rebels. He and it were overthrown by Gaddafi in 1969. Its return was for this author a sure indication of the politics of this bogus “revolution”.

Comment by on Lenin’s Tomb Blog:
“Even if the USA now departs the scene, they have stuck around – and bombed – long enough to undermine the revolution; to drain it of, as you call it, emancipatory content and turn it into a civil war. Gaddafi now has his anti-Imperialist cred boosted enough to politically undermine opposition in areas under his control; the rebels are pushing aside the popular militias in favour of the professional forces led by former Gaddafi military leaders. The popular, political impetus has been frozen in aspic, as it were, pushed aside by a conflict within the ruling class of Libya.”

FIGHTING FOR THE UNITED SOCIALIST STATES OF AMERICA

Put one more “S” in the U.S.A.

Langston Hughes

Put one more S in the U.S.A.
To make it Soviet.
One more S in the U.S.A.
Oh, we’ll live to see it yet.
When the land belongs to the farmers
And the factories to the working men–
The U.S.A. when we take control
Will be the U.S.S.A. then.
